The Services & Pricing page is where you add the speech therapy services you provide and their prices.
Whenever you add a Service, a payment link is created which allows your customers to make a payment for that service, you can copy it from the services table and share it (eg. by email).
There's also a full menu of services page you can share, which lists all of your public services in one place. Which looks like this:
On the checkout page, families have multiple payment methods to choose from, including Klarna and Clearpay, which allows them to spread the costs across multiple interest-free payments (this has no impact on when you get paid for the delivery of your services).
Adding Services
To add a new service, use the Add New Service button and fill in the details requested. You'll choose a Service Type from a dropdown:

You'll also set the delivery (Online or Face-to-Face), a description, the price, and a session duration.
All of your services are listed in a table, where you can edit, duplicate or archive them as needed, see each service's duration, and find the link for each service to share with customers for payment.
Clicking the 'View Link' text will open the page for that Service's payment link. Simply copy and paste this URL into emails etc. to share with customers.
Public or Private Services
Services can be set to either be Public or Private (at least one must be Public), shown by the eye icon on the services table.
This means that you can create payment links for specific customers, perhaps at a special discounted rate, but set them to Private so they won't be visible on your profile for everyone to see.
The one exception here is Single Therapy Sessions.
As outlined in our Standard and Expectations, we strongly encourage selling therapy in at least blocks of 3 sessions.
We understand that there are situations where you will still need a single session, so you can still create these, but they will always be set to Private.
Online or Face-to-Face
When adding a service, you choose whether it's delivered Online or Face-to-Face:
This is particularly useful if you need to distinguish the pricing / delivery for different services, but also ties into the scheduling system, where Online services will automatically have your preferred video meeting link added to the booking (eg. Google Meet, Zoom).
Setting Prices
When adding your price for a service, the page shows you the final price to the customer (we add a 10% booking fee) and your payout amount after our 20% commission:
Travel Costs
Travel is set up under Extras on the Services page.
Charging for travel is optional, we recommend it only where travel for a session is more than about a 15-minute commute by car, and the generally accepted rate is £0.45 per mile.
(You can also claim £0.45 per mile on your own tax return rather than charging the customer.)
To enable it, turn on the Travel Costs extra and set your price per mile; this creates a separate link for collecting travel payments (the link appears once the extra is enabled and saved).
When sharing your travel costs link, if you set the number of miles you need the customer to pay for on the payment page itself, and then grab the URL to send to the customer, the page will load with the miles already set, reducing any mistakes on the customer's end.
Saltroad collects 4% on travel costs to cover the payment processing fees.
