As covered in the Saltroad Expectations and Standards, our policy is for all services to be paid for in advance of delivery.
For most therapists, this consists of agreeing services with the customer, pencilling in agreed dates & times as appropriate, and then sending the customer the relevant service payment link to make payment.

Our general advice would be to communicate to customers that the session date is not guaranteed until payment is made.
If you get close to a session date and have not received payment, then giving the customer a friendly reminder that this is required ahead of the session will usually do the trick.
(This is another benefit of selling therapy in blocks of multiple sessions, rather than having to worry about this for every single session.)
